The free data converter plug-in (DCP) for Code Composer Studio™ provides software support for interfacing TI’s data converter with TI’s TMS320C2800™, TMS320C5400™, TMS320C5500™, TMS320C671x™ and TMS320C641x™ DSP platforms. The data converter support tool from TI is an example of the benefits developers can realize from the eXpressDSP™ open software driver architecture. This tool allows you to effortlessly configure and start your data converter from within the integrated development environment (IDE) of the DSP. The tool automatically generates C code with the data structures, configuration parameters and interface functions for TI's data converters.

The new Version 4.30 adds support for additional data converters and is an update against the version 3.70 included in the Code Composer Studio release 3.3 and the previous releases of the DCP included in earlier versions of Code Composer Studio.

As data converters are designed with an increasing number of features, programming the data converters can become more complex. Our data converter support tool simplifies the programming process by generating all the configuration data, based on inputs to a graphical user interface.
