TI Current Shunt Monitors - Voltage Output

TI’s voltage output current shunt monitors deliver the widest common-mode range available from -16V to +80V. The ability to sense at or below zero is essential in sensing current from shorted supplies, during inductive kickback, and can be used for negative supply current sense.

  • The INA19X family
    • Common-mode range from -16V to 80V
    • Gain options of 20 V/V, 50 V/V, and 100 V/V.
      • Each available in two pin-out configurations.
    • Low quiescent current of 700 µA
  • The INA20X family
    • Dual comparators and reference
    • Common-mode range from -16V to 80V
    • Gain options of 20 V/V, 50 V/V, and 100 V/V.
      • Each available both a 10 pin and 14 pin configuration.
      • 14 pin configuration has the
        • Added programmable delay on the 2nd comparator
        • Added 1.2V reference output
  • INA27X Coming soon!
    • Allows access to the nodes between the input stage and output stage
    • 100k resistor on the output stage makes it possible to implement first order filtering with a single capacitor.
