The Digital Video Evaluation Module (DVEVM) The Digital Video Evaluation Module (DVEVM)

View the DVEVM in 3D

The Digital Video Evaluation Module (DVEVM) enables developers to build start immediate evaluation of DaVinci ™ processors and begin building digital video applications such as videophones, automotive infotainment, digital still camera's, streaming media, IP set-top boxes, video security systems and digital video products that have yet to be invented. The DVEVM allows developers to write production-ready application code for the ARM and provides access to the DSP core using DaVinci APIs. For more information about DaVinci, visit

TMS320DM6437 Digital Video Development Platform (DVDP)

Rapidly accelerate the development time of your lowcost digital video application with the new DaVinci™ TMS320DM6437 Digital Video Development Platform. Available today for U.S. $495, the DVDP includes both hardware and software and enables immediate evaluation of the DM6437 digital media processors.

Digital Video Software Development Kit (DVSDK) Digital Video Software Development Kit (DVSDK)

The Digital Video Software Development Kit (DVSDK) is based on DaVinci technology and designed to tune complex systems quickly and efficiently by incorporating multiple tools that significantly improve software integration and system visibility.  The DVSDK requires a target platform for DM644x processors and can be used in conjunction with the DVEVM or platforms from TI third parties. Review technical documents or learn specifics of DVSDK.

dm642_dmdk Videophone Development Platform (VDP)

A complete development platform for designing point-to-point IP-based videophone systems, the VDP empowers OEMs to bring consumer videophones to market faster.  The VDP is an integrated hardware/software solution reducing both design complexity and total system bill materials, including everything developers need to begin designing point-to-point videophone systems immediately.  All application system software runs on TI's 600-MHz DSP-based TMS320DM643 digital media processor, including audio/video compression, networking stacks and control protocols.  The VDP includes two DSP-based boards, two CCD cameras, two 5-inch LCD displays, two phone keypads as well as the software and documentation to get started.
