Aureus™ High Performance Digital Audio Processors

Aureus™ high performance digital audio processors represent the highest quality audio processing possible to satisfy even the most discerning consumer, and support the latest and most innovative audio processing features to enrich the audio listening experience.

The DA8x digital audio processor is the latest addition to the Aureus family of audio processors from Texas Instruments. The highly-integrated, dual-core DA8x product line offers the combined features of an ARM® processor and an audio digital signal processor (DSP) core, as well as a wide range of peripherals. This compilation results in a high-performance, cost-effective solution for consumer products such as network-connected Audio/Video Receivers (AVR), Home Theater in a Box (HTIB) and mini/micro component systems.

  • TMS320DA830 and TMS320DA828 SOCs - The high-performance DA830 SOC, along with the DA828 SOC enable customers to design low cost networked applications that require multi-channel HD audio decoding and post processing.

  • TMS320DA710B and TMS320DA708B DSPs - The award-winning, high-performance DA710 DSP, along with the DA707B DSP are ideal for designing applications that require multi-channel HD audio decoding and post processing, as well as high speed encoding for commercial or automotive markets.
  • TMS320DA707B and TMS320DA705B DSPs - These new Aureus digital audio processors provide a cost-optimized platform that brings more features and high-quality sound to low- and mid-range applications requiring multi-channel decoding.
