1. How can I apply for a position at TI?

Answer: It is best to apply for a position using http://careers.ti.com. Here you will have the opportunity to submit your resume and/or apply for specific positions that interest you. We encourage you to apply for a specific position because we receive a high volume of qualified resumes.

2. How long will it take me to submit my resume?

Answer: The time will vary based on the speed of your Internet connection and the way you submit your resume (i.e., upload a resume, paste information from an existing resume or create a new resume.) We recommend you complete the information in as many fields as possible since our recruiters use this data to match your skills and experience with our current job opportunities.

3. What happens after I submit my resume using http://careers.ti.com?

Answer: Once your resume is submitted, our recruiters will have the opportunity to match your skills and experience against TI’s current business needs. A member of our TI Staffing organization will contact you if we determine that your qualifications and skills are a strong match for an open position. If you are contacted by TI, the recruiter will ask a few questions and offer to answer any questions you may have about the open position. The next step is a technical phone interview or an on-site interview at a TI facility.

5. How long will my resume remain active in TI’s database? How often should I update it?

Answer:Your resume will remain active in our database for the current year plus two years. If your personal or employment information changes, or if you earn an additional degree, certification or acquire new skills, we suggest you update your resume and resubmit it to http://careers.ti.com.

6. Can I change the information provided to TI after it is submitted?

Answer: Yes. You can submit your updated resume to TI at any time. You may also apply for additional open positions as often as you’d like.

7. How can I learn about the most current jobs available at TI?

Answer: You can review current opportunities at http://careers.ti.com. This Web site is updated on a regular basis and provides the most comprehensive view of all available positions. Each opportunity includes a complete job description so you can determine which job may be most appropriate for you. The site also gives you the ability to create a search based on specific parameters and receive automatic notifications via e-mail when a position matching your search criteria becomes available.

8. Does TI offer relocation packages?

Answer: Yes, in some cases. In other cases we try to use local talent. We recommend applying for positions that you think are the best fit for you, and are located in your geographical preference.

Answer: TI’s http://careers.ti.com site is global and includes positions outside of North America. You can search for positions in specific regions and apply for these positions using the site.

1. Does TI have a student co-op or internship program?

Answer: Yes, we offer a number of opportunities for students pursuing degrees at all education levels. Our programs are available to students pursuing their Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD and MBA degrees. We also have positions available for recent college graduates. These programs accept new participants each year, based on our business needs. More information.

2. What is the best way to apply for an internship?

Answer: We recruit co-ops and interns using the same process that we use for full-time hires. That means you will want to submit your resume online. You may also want to make arrangements to visit with our recruiters in person at an area TI recruiting event.

3. How do I find out about TI’s recruiting events?

Answer: TI participates in recruiting events at colleges and universities across the country. To locate recruiting events in your area. To locate professional diversity events. These events are updated regularly, so keep checking the website.
