VDP Kit TI Introduces NEW Videophone Development Platform
TI’s Videophone Development Platform (VDP) is a complete solution that allows OEMs to design point-to-point IP-based videophone systems, bringing consumer videophones to market faster. The VDP, an integrated hardware/software solution, reduces both design complexity and total system bill materials, including everything developers need to begin designing point-to-point videophone systems immediately. All application system software, including audio/video compression, networking stacks and control protocols, runs on TI's 600-MHz DSP-based TMS320DM643 digital media processor. The VDP includes two DSP-based boards, two CCD cameras, two 5-inch LCD displays, two phone keypads as well as the software and documentation to get you started. Visit website for more details.
