Description

The PCM5310 is a four-channel/four-channel audio codec with a 2-V_RMS driver, headphone amplifier, analog multiplexer (mux), and six audio interface ports for digital TV applications.

The PCM5310 accepts left-justified, right-justified, and I²S audio data formats with 16 or 24 bits. The PCM5310 also incorporates many functions through the I²C interface, such as an analog bypass mode, analog volume control, analog level control, analog multiplexer, GPIO, zero flag, short protection, de-emphasis filter, high-pass filter, and digital attenuator. The six audio interface ports each have a built-in digital mux and bypass functions to reduce the need for additional DSP ports or other devices.
