Description
The ADS5273EVM provides a convenient platform to evaluate the ADS5273, an 8-Channel, 12-Bit, 70 Msps Analog-to-Digital converter, that features serialized LVDS digital outputs. In the event the user does not already have a method to attach to and analyze the data from the LVDS data stream, a deserializer board is offered. This board, the ADSDeSer-50EVM, directly connects to the ADS5273EVM and provides the data in parallel form for all eight channels simultaneously.
Each of the eight analog inputs on the ADS5273EVM uses a transformer configured to convert the single-ended input signal into a differential signal feeding into the ADS5273. The ADS5273EVM can be operated from a +3.3 V supply.
The EVM kit includes software and a serial port cable that will allow the user to access the internal register of the ADS5273 and perform the evaluation under various part configurations. The ADS5273EVM evaluation board comes completely assembled.
