Description

The ADS7869 Reference Design provides three current transducer input circuits for monitoring phase currents in a DC servo motor. It also includes two inputs from a sinusoidal encoder to provide position/speed information.

The modular form factor of the reference design allows direct evaluation of the ADS7869 performance and operating characteristics. This reference design is compatible with the 5-6K Interface Board and the HPA-MCU Interface Board from Texas Instruments. See the Interface Board User’s Guide (literature number SLAU104 and SLAU106) for more information.
