Description

The ADS8402EVM is a full-featured EValuation Module for the operation of the ADS8402 analog to digital converter. The part is a high-speed SAR (successive approximation register); 16-bits of resolution, single channel, parallel interface ADC. The EVM has an on board input signal conditioning circuit. This circuit inverts the incoming signal, applies unity gain, and buffers the signal to the ADS8406 ADC. This EVM also has a precision reference, buffered with a non-inverting operational amplifier. The digital input/outputs are buffered. On board decoding is used for stacking multiple EVMs.
