Product InformationDescriptionThe Texas Instruments ADS8410/13REF board is a demonstration vehicle for the ADS84xx class of A/D converter. The ADS8410/13 REF Module utilizes both the ADS8410 (ADC1) and ADS8413 (ADC2) each of which are controlled by, a Xilinx Spartan-3 PFGA. These two devices may function in a Single-Device configuration or may be coupled in a Daisy-Chain (up to 4 devices). Operational parameters are sent by a host computer via a USB interface to the FPGA. In the Single Device mode (each device is separate), in the Daisy-Chain mode the ADC1 to ADC2 connectivity is provided by the FPGA.
