Description

IMPORTANT: Please read the following before downloading.

1. If you uninstall or reinstall the Free Evaluation Tools, your license will automatically expire.
2. To ensure proper operation, install the tools in the default directory.
3. You must install the evaluation software to a local machine, the Free Evaluation Tools are not intended to run on a network machine or on a network drive. Warning:
   1. Insert the option -v0 as the first linker option (i.e. "lnk30 -v0-user_options") to tell the linker to generate the COFF0 format for the C3x Simulator.
   Please read the readme3x.sim and/or readme4x.sim files after installation for additional information on invoking the simulators.
4. You must have administrator privileges to install the Free Evaluation Tools on a Windows NT hosted machine.
5. System backups may prevent the Free Evaluation Tools from working by invalidating the license.
6. In some cases defragmentation of the hard drive may invalidate the Free Evaluation Tools license.
7. No extensions to the 30-day evaluation period are available.
8. TI's Free Evaluation Tools allow only one installation per computer.

The Free Evaluation Tools are full function, full featured, 30-day time-limited versions of TI's 'C3x PC-hosted compiler and simulator software. Design Engineers can now try out development tools before they commit to a product development schedule. TI's Free Evaluation Tools provide the opportunity to benchmark key algorithms and applications and make valid comparisons among vendors to achieve the optimum performance for a given application.
