The DAC5686EVM provides a platform for evaluating the DAC5686 digital-to-analog converter (DAC) under various signal, reference, and supply conditions.

The EVM enables user's to input up to 160MSPS digital signals to the DAC. The DAC can drive a 50 Ohm terminated cable using 4:1 or 1:1 transformer or single ended referred to the AVDD. The kit also comes with a parallel port cable and software to set the registers to configure the DAC5686 in the desired mode.
