Description

The OPA84xD + ADS5500 demonstration board is a diferential analog-to-digital (ADC)-driver configuration unpopulated printed circuit board (PCB) for two single op amps in SO-8 packages. This board has been optimized to minimize parasitics and provide good harmonic distortion for wideband, high gain, high-speed amplifiers in a differential inverting configuration.

Features

  • ADS5500 is pin-to-pin compatible with lower-speed ADCs (such as the ADS5541 and ADS5542, or lower bit count ADCs, such as the ADS5520, ADS5521, and ADS5522); as a result, this board can be used for those devices as well.
  • Recommended op amps that could be used with this board to drive these high-speed aDCs are the OPA842, OPA843, OPA846, OPA847, OPA695, and THS4304.
