Description

The Discovery 3000 Developer Board combines the high performance of the DMD Discovery 3000 chip set with a user programmable Application FPGA, memory and user defined I/O connectors to provide a flexible platform. The Controller board is a PbFree design and supports application development and volume equipment production.

This document describes the functionality of the Discovery 3000 Digital Controller (DDC3000) Starter Kit. The starter kit provides a reference design and test platform for the DDC3000 chipset. The DDC3000 chipset consists of an XC3S400, SNDDISCO3000, DAD1000, and a DMD. The XC3S400 and SNDDISCO3000 make up the DDC3000 controller.
