Product InformationDescriptionPMP841 is a high efficiency, non-isolated Power-over-Ethernet PD power supply reference design intended to ease implementation of PoE in devices such as IP phones, WLAN AP's and security cameras. The reference design uses a TPS2375 PoE Powered Device Controller to implement all necessary detection, classification, inrush current limiting, UVLO and switch FET control necessary to be compliant with the IEEE802.3af Power-over-Ethernet standard. A TPS40061, high-voltage, wide input (10 V to 55 V) synchronous, step-down converter is used to generate 3.3V, 5V or 12V from the 48V PoE input. The design is optimized for maximum efficiency in the smallest board area possible. Technical DocumentsMore Literature
