Description

Sensored FOC (Field Oriented Control) for a 3 phase ACI (AC induction) motor using a "low cost" current measurement method for closed loop torque control. Speed measurement is implemented using both a QEP (Quadrature encoder) shaft sensor and also a more economical "toothed" sprocket with hall sensor. The inverter is driven based on a space vector PWM modulation technique. Based on TMS320C24x™ DSP controllers.
