Description

Communication drivers toolbox contains virtual serial peripheral modules, and they are software implementations of peripheral functions using general purpose port pins(GPIO). The de facto industry standard serial interface protocols are I2C and SPI, that are included here as virtual peripherals. This module enables the C24x device to communicate with I2C bus and SPI bus serial peripherals using GPIO pins.

As an example, we have made available a software framework to communicate with serial EEPROM using the virtual peripheral engine.

• Each module has it's own Software Test bench (STB) for a quick and easy "self contained" evaluation
• STB framework is offered as a Code Composer project
• Fully documented (PDF files are included within the self extracting zip file)
