DescriptionTexas Instruments H.264 baseline profile (BP) and main profile (MP) decoder software conforms fully with the H.264 standard from the ITU-T. The H.264 BP and MP decoder offer flexible rate control which allows it to be tuned to support multiple applications, including video conferencing, video surveillance, broadcasting and numerous other end equipments. It features programmable codec parameters that can be optimized for speed or subjective video quality depending on the needs of the end product. The H.264 is highly optimized to a hard standard that supports numerous complex tools and allows for development time savings in terms of years instead of months.
