Description

As part of the industry's highest performance line of DSPs, the TMS320C6416 gives designers an innovative new way of addressing the high performance and low power demands of next generation wireless infrastructure. Now, the TMS320C6416 test and evaluation board (TEB) allows developers to easily and immediately evaluate the device for their applications. The board, which includes a self-contained TMS320C6416-based printed circuit board, power supply and documentation, requires an XDS510 emulator controller for a PC or an XDS510WS for a UNIX workstation. By coupling the TMS320C6416 TEB with the emulator and TI's Code Composer Studio™ Integrated Development Environment (IDE), designers have a comprehensive and simplified way of speeding products to market.

    - CPLD - Altera CPLD EMP3128ATC100
    - Codec - Burr-Brown PCM3002E
    - Flash - AMDAML9LV400BT, 512B x 8, configured for ROM boot operation
    - SDRAM - two Micron 48LC2M32B2TG-6, 2M x 32
  • 14-pin JTAG header - for emulation
  • Universal power supply block and power cord - +5V (5A) output
  • On-board power regulation - LDO regulators for 3.3V and 1.2V (variable regulation). Default at 1.37V
