Description

The TVP7000EVM evaluation module is used to demonstrate the TVP7000.  The TVP7000 is a high speed 10-bit triple ADC capable of digitizing video (YPbPr) and PC graphics (RGB).  It supports pixel rates up to 150MHz supporting analog VESA mode standards up to SXGA (1280x1024x75Hz) and analog component video up to 1080p.  With 8/10-bit resolution at 150/110MSPS the TVP7000 is the ideal solution for medium to high end applications requiring high quality support for PC graphics and video. 

The TVP7000 supports either YPbPr analog component video inputs or RGB with either Sync-on-Green (SOG) or discrete HSYNC and VSYNC inputs. The digital output data is provided as 4:2:2 or 4:4:4 data.

Specifications:

The TVP7000EVM was designed for ease of use to minimize set up time while providing a complete evaluation system for the TVP7000 10-bit Triple ADC. The TVP7000EVM includes the TVP7000 10-bit Triple ADC Board Module, a THS8200 Triple DAC Board Module, a universal 5V power supply and a parallel port cable.

It also includes a Windows™ 95/98/Me/NT/2000/XP compatible application called WinVCC (Windows Video Control Center). WinVCC communicates with the TVP7000EVM via I2C through a PC parallel port connection and provides the means for manipulating system register settings.

This software is provided with the TVP7000EVM. The latest version of WinVCC is also available for download below.

TVP7000EVM SOFTWARE DOWNLOAD:

The TVP7000EVM installation program is available for download below. The zip file comes complete with the parallel port driver, WinVCC, the TVP7000 data manual, the TVP7000EVM User's Guide and the TVP7000EVM Quick Start Guide.

To install:

1. Run SETUP.EXE (This must be executed at the PC that will be used to control the EVM)
2. Click Next at all prompts and finally click Finish to complete the installation process.
