Description

The XIO2001 Evaluation Board (EVM) implements a Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI) Express to PCI bridge circuit using the Texas Instruments XIO2001 PCI Express to PCI Bus Translation Bridge. Designed as a half-width x1 PCi Express add-in card, it provides customers with three standard PCI slots.

• Full featured evaluation board for XIO2001 PCI Express to PCI bridge
• Designed to work straight from the box, no driver needed
• On-board EEPROM programmed with values that will allow the EVM to function in most systems
• XIO2001 Performance Tuning software provides customers with the ability to easily tune the EVM to achieve maximum performance in their application via a Graphical User Interface
• Onboard LEDs to indicate availability of power and status of certain control signals
• Onboard regulators to derive 1.5V (for the XIO2001) and 12-V for the PCI connectors, while power for the 3.3V, 5V and 12V rails is provided by a combination of the add-in connector and IDE power connector
