Nuts and Bolts of the Delta-Sigma Converter

Delta-sigma converters are ideal for converting signals over a wide range of frequencies from DC to several megahertz with very high resolution results. In a delta-sigma ADC, the input signal is oversampled and then filtered by a digital/decimator filter. In this video we will gain an understanding of the delta-sigma converter by exploring the basic topology and functions of modulator and digital/decimator filter.

So you think that you know everything about an analog-to-digital converter with just one specification: ENOB? Guess again. Take a look at this video with Bonnie Baker to explore the ins and outs of ADC specifications and how they interact for your applications.
