Digital Signal Controllers
Simulink is an interactive tool for modeling, simulating and analyzing
dynamic, multi-domain systems. It lets you accurately describe,
simulate, evaluate and refine a system's behavior through standard
and custom block libraries. Simulink integrates seamlessly with
MATLAB®, providing you immediate access to an extensive range
of analysis and design tools. These benefits make Simulink the tool
of choice for control, signal processing and communications system
design and other simulation applications.

MATLAB integrates mathematical computing, visualization and a powerful
language to provide a flexible environment for technical computing.
The open architecture makes it easy to use MATLAB and its companion
products to explore data, create algorithms and create custom tools
that provide early insights and competitive advantages.

C2000 Digital Signal Controllers
C2000 controllers are optimized for control applications and provide the best combination
of microcontroller (MCU) peripheral integration and ease-of-use with the performance of leading
DSP technology from TI. The high level of integration and performance of C2000 controllers allows
designers to add additional features to their systems, helping to provide better feedback and
precision while reducing overall costs.
The 32-bit C28x controller’s core combines the processing power of DSP technology from
TI with the control peripherals and ease-of-use of a microcontroller. The C28x controller
architecture is capable of a single-cycle 32x32bit MAC or a single-cycle dual 16x16bit MAC
and includes on-chip Flash memory, high-precision analog, digital control, and communication
peripherals.
With performance of up to 40 MIPS, the C24x controller generation’s 16-bit core
allows you to implement many control algorithms. A single-cycle instruction set enables
you to calculate complex mathematic functions in real-time, while the Harvard architecture
optimizes vector mathematics, ideal for embedded control applications. The C24x DSP advanced
Harvard-type architecture maximizes processing power by maintaining two separate memory bus
structures, program and data, for full-speed execution.
