At a price of $349, the EVM is a standalone, low cost board that includes a single C6472 DSP, full range of software, memories and peripherals to provide fast and easy development. Begin development on these high-performance ARM MPUs, the first Cortex™-A8-based solutions optimized for industrial applications. The AM35x devices offer multiple packages, industrial temperature options, peripheral integration, graphics capabilities and high computational performance at sub-one Watt power levels. The AM3517 Evaluation Module (TMDXEVM3517) includes an AM3517 system on module, touch screen LCD, 256kB of memory and a baseboard. New development tools for patient monitoring equipment save months of design time

  • An OMAP-L138/C6748 EVM from TI is available for those that need full peripheral access and TI support. The EVM builds on the experimenter board with an extra C6748 SOM, double the memory (128 MB mDDR) and full support for connectivity peripherals.
