New design note: DN023 868 MHz and 915 MHz PCB inverted-F antenna
The antenna described in this design note is an inverted F antenna for operation at 868 and 915 MHz. The impedance of the antenna is approximately matched to 50 Ohm and no external components are needed. Maximum gain is measured at -0.12 dB and the overall size requirements are 43 x 20 mm.

TI announces high-speed, low-power contactless chip enabling multi-applications for growing closed-loop markets
TI has announced the availability of a new, secure, multipurpose contactless chip designed for the growing closed-loop contactless micropayment, loyalty, ID and access application markets. TI’s ISO/IEC 14443 Type B chip, called the RF-HCT-WRC5-KP221, (also available in module form), combines processing speed, advanced radio frequency (RF) performance, and industry-standard security with a flexible and configurable memory that supports up to five applications on one contactless card or token.
