Below are the latest updates from Low-Power RF:
NEW – CC2520EMK Evaluation Module Kit
The CC2520EMK, which is an add-on kit to the CC2520DK, is now available. The CC2520EMK contains 2 CC2520EM plug in modules and 2 antennas. The modules can be plugged into the SmartRF05EB or the CCMSP-EM430F2618 board that is included in the CC2520DK. The board can also easily be connected to other microcontrollers, allowing fast prototyping with the CC2520 transceiver.

UPDATED CC1101 Datasheet
The datasheet has been formatted and edited, and important information like wireless MBUS compliance, application circuit updates, antenna solutions that was only available in application and design notes, have been added with links to the respective documents. Further, information regarding variation in output power, sensitivity and current consumptions over conditions has been added.

CC1101EM announcement
The current revision of the CC1101EM reference design uses Murata LQG15 series multilayer inductors and the maximum output power is +10 dBm. Using Murata LQW15 series wire-wound inductors the CC1101 output power is +12 dBm @868 MHz (33.3 mA) and +11 dBm @ 915 MHz (32.6 mA). For the same output power, the current consumption in transmit mode is lower with the wire-wound inductors compared to using the multilayer inductors (30.0 mA vs 32.3 mA @+10 dBm, 868 MHz). Furthermore, the harmonics emission is significantly reduced when using wire-wound inductors. The sensitivity is improved by 1 dB when using wire-wound inductors.
The CC1101EM-868/915 MHz reference design and the CC1101 datasheet will be updated using wire-wound inductors.
