TI is pleased to announce the first ever fully compliant ZigBee-RF4CE stack, targeting the consumer electronics remote control market. RemoTI offers a simple, easy-to-use, intuitive, fully compliant protocol stack and all of the tools, documentation, and support needed to build an RF4CE-compliant product. RemoTI runs on TI's industry leading IEEE 802.15.4 compliant System-on-Chip, the CC2530.

Z-Stack™ version 2.2.0 is now available
TI's industry-leading ZigBee-certified software, Z-Stack 2.2.0, is now available on the latest MSP430 family of ultra-low power MCUs, which offer up to 256K flash and 16K RAM. Z-Stack 2.2.0 is ZigBee® 2007 (ZigBee and ZigBee PRO) compliant and supports the Smart Energy and Home Automation profiles on TI's second generation 802.15.4 compliant System-on-Chip, the CC2530, as well as the MSP430F5438 + CC2520 and MSP430F2618 + CC2520 platforms. The RemoTI-CC2530DK development kit has everything you need to get a ZigBee RF4CE-compliant product to market fast. The RemoTI-CC2530DK supports TI's second generation 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.15.4 compliant System-on-Chip, the CC2530, and contains a CC2530-based RF Remote Control, target module (receiver board) with CC2530EM module, CC Debugger, cables, adapter board, and Quick start guide. Application Note 061 – Optimizing power consumption with the CC2520DK
This application note describes and demonstrates how the digital features of the CC2520 can be used to optimize the current consumption of a CC2520 based design. The demonstration is done based on the accompanied SW examples that are written for the CC2520DK development kit.

Application Note 070 – CC1020 automatic power-up sequencing
This application note gives example code to use CC1020 automatic power-up sequencing. Automatic power-up sequencing allows the host controller to wake the radio and check for a carrier by toggling a single I/O line.

Third European ZigBee Devleopers' conference
After the great success of the first two European ZigBee Developers's Conference in 2007 and 2008, the ZigBee Alliance will hold their 3rd European ZigBee Developers' Conference (EuZDC) from June 30 to July 1, 2009 at the NH Hotel Munich-Dornach (Germany). Texas Instruments will participate again this year so don't miss this opportunity to learn about the actual and future status of the ZigBee development, to get to know hardware and software products, and to get acquainted with the development process.
