CC2530 Second generation system–on–chip for ZigBee®, RF4CE, Smart Energy, and IP applications
The new CC2530 is a true system-on-chip solution tailored for IEEE 802.15.4, ZigBee, ZigBee RF4CE and Smart Energy applications. With its large flash memory of up to 256 KB, the CC2530 is ideal for ZigBee PRO applications. The 64 K and up versions will support the new RemoTI™ stack for ZigBee RF4CE, which is the industry's first ZigBee RF4CE-compliant protocol stack, and larger memory sizes will allow for on-chip over-the-air-download to support in-system reprogramming.

New revision of CC1101 data sheet
Using wire wound inductors improves maximum output power to +12/+11 dBm at 868/915 MHz, reduces the current consumption for a given output power, reduces the harmonics emission, and improves the sensitivity by 1-2 dB compared to using multi–layer inductors. The new revision of the data sheet includes electrical parameters for operation at 868/915 MHz when using wire wound inductors.

New CC2511 USB nano dongle reference design enables ultra compact USB designs

The CC2511 USB nano dongle reference design shows how to make an ultra compact USB dongle with the CC2511 system-on-chip, using a PCB antenna and single sided components mounting.

The reference design contains schematics and layout files for the CC2511 USB nano dongle. The reference design demonstrates good techniques for decoupling and RF layout in miniaturized PCB designs with the CC2511.

This is a 4-layer reference design with a compact balun and antenna integrated in the PCB.
