TI’s new 6LoWPAN sub-1GHz solutions |
TI’s new sub-1 GHz 6LoWPAN solutions provide a gateway for remote, low-cost wireless sensors to connect to the Internet and a wireless extension of wired IPv6 infrastructures. By operating in the sub-1GHz band, TI's 6LoWPAN solutions offer longer wireless range at lower power levels than traditional 2.4 GHz-based 6LoWPAN offerings. The 6LoWPAN solutions support large-scale mesh networks and are suitable for applications such as Smart Grid, security, home and building automation, street lighting and other wireless sensor networks. |

AN091 RemoTI IR Signal Generation Application Note |
Although ZigBee® RF4CE based remote controllers are replacing traditional IR remote controllers at a fast pace, manufacturers of RF4CE remote controllers may still want to support IR to control legacy consumer electronics equipment. Additionally, manufacturers of consumer electronics equipment may want to enable RF4CE with minimal changes to their current system. This can be accomplished by an RF4CE-to-IR bridge solution. This application note provides information for how use the hardware capability in TI’s ZigBee RF4CE RemoTI software environment and also a sample implementation of three different IR encoding formats.
RemoTI is Texas Instrument’s implementation of the ZigBee RF4CE network protocol standard. You can find more information about RF4CE at www.ti.com/rf4ce and RemoTI at www.ti.com/RemoTI |

AN099 – Wireless Microphone with USB Interface |
This application note shows how to use low-power CC111x and CC251x system-on-chip RF transceivers to provide a low-cost 16-bit 16-kHz audio to USB interface. Sample code and hardware designs are given for the 900 MHz ISM bands using the CC1110 and CC1111. These can be easily modified for the 2.4GHz ISM band using the CC2510 and CC2511. |
