New CC2560/64 Bluetooth® QFN devices |
TI is expanding its Bluetooth portfolio with new CC2560 and CC2564 easy-to-integrate QFN packages offered by TI and its distribution partners. TI also announced the availability of additional production-ready modules based on the two devices, as well as software and tools. The QFN packages and various modules give customers choice regarding power, size and cost requirements. These Bluetooth controllers are pre-integrated with TI’s MSP430™ and Stellaris® microcontrollers with a royalty free Bluetooth stack and profiles. The CC2560 offers Bluetooth "classic" support for audio and data applications, and the CC2564 supports dual-mode Bluetooth/Bluetooth low energy or Bluetooth/ANT+, helping manufacturers build accessories for the increasing number of Bluetooth v4.0-enabled smartphones and tablets on the market.
