CC3000 SmartConfig™ Application & CC3000 TI module production units
TI's SimpleLink™ Wi-Fi® CC3000 solution supports SmartConfig technology, which gives customers an easy to use mechanism to connect CC3000-based devices to Wi-Fi Access Points – a key differentiator for the CC3000 solution. We now have a SmartConfig Application available in the Apple App store and a SmartConfig library and source application for customers to use for customizations.

TI is now shipping production units of CC3000 module, and they are available through several distribution partners. Samples are available now, and production unit lead time is about 8 weeks.

NEW reference design: CC1120 + Skyworks SKY65313 1W 915 MHz Reference Design
The CC112x SKY65313 915 MHz EM Reference Design contains schematics and layout files for the CC112x SKY65313 Evaluation Module. This design demonstrates good techniques for CC112x decoupling and RF layout. For optimum RF performance, the design should be copied accurately. This is a 4-layer reference design with the option to connect to the SMA antenna connector designed for a single ended 50 ohm antenna, or connection to the integrated PCB helical antenna. The RF section has been designed for operation in the 902 to 928MHz (US) frequency bands with 1W (30 dBm) output power.

TI's Home Gateway Reference Design makes homes smarter by enabling home automation and smart energy system management in the palm of a hand
This easy-to-use reference design links home energy systems that use ZigBee® to any Wi-Fi-router, so consumers can monitor or control their smart energy devices or home automation systems in the palm of a hand via smartphones or tablets. The reference design supports ZigBee, Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity right out of the box to allow developers to create home gateways that can interface with multiple systems, products and applications within a smart home. TI's new reference design has been designed in partnership with Alektrona – a specialist in creating networked smart energy products and applications.
