The TNETC4700/4710 Puma 4 DOCSIS 2.0 voice/data cable modem chipset incorporates all of the necessary functionality for an embedded multimedia terminal adapter (eMTA). In addition, innovative advancements allow the chipsets to process cellular codecs and enable fix mobile convergence (FMC) applications on wireless and wireline networks. Moreover, low bit-rate codecs for conferencing channels use half the bandwidth normally consumed by multi-user calls.
