The TNETC540 Voice over Cable (VoC) modem platform is a reference design that provides manufacturers with a quick time-to-market and low-risk certification for DOCSIS® 1.0/1.1/2.0 VoC applications. Based on TI’s TNETC4700/4710 chipsets, the TNETC540 hardware development kit accelerates development because it is based on proven cable modem chipsets integrated with field hardened DOCSIS 1.0/1.1/2.0 software.
The TNETC540 platform achieves high-speed data transfers and supports TI’s optional DOCSIS-compliant TurboDOX™ bandwidth-acceleration software package, which provides enhanced data throughput. The TNETC540 offers additional advanced features such as a low pin-count interface to wireless local area networking (WLAN) and a battery back up unit. The TNETC540 is a convenient and trustworthy VoC platform for the integration of TI’s comprehensive solutions for very cost-effective and differentiated VoC modems.
