TSB12LV01B/TSB41AB3 Reference Schematic (Rev. A)
This application report describes the electrical connections between the Texas Instruments TSB12LV01B and TSB41AB3 for common modes of operation. Use this document in conjunction with the TI application report, Recommendations for PHY Layout (SLLA020), to successfully design a 1394 system.
The TSB12LV01B is a high-performance, general-purpose IEEE 1394-1995 link-layer controller (LLC) with the capability of transferring data between a host controller and the 1394 PHY-link interface. The TSB41AB3 is a three-port 400-Mbps physical layer (PHY) device that fully supports provisions of the IEEE 1394-1995 standard and P1394a supplement (version 5.0).
