How to Write an RTDX Host Application Using MATLAB

Real-Time Data Exchange (RTDX?) is a technology developed by Texas Instruments that enables real-time bi-directional communication between a digital signal processor (DSP) or microcontroller and a host application

This document describes the steps needed to write an RTDX host application using MATLAB® and the Developer's Kit for Texas Instruments DSP. MATLAB is a product of The MathWorks, Inc. The Developer's Kit for TI DSP is an extension to MATLAB, version 6 (release 12).

This document assumes that you have Code Composer Studio?.0 or higher and MATLAB, version 6, with the Developer's Kit for TI DSP installed. It also assumes that you are familiar with using MATLAB and running a simple RTDX target application within Code Composer Studio. If you are not familiar with MATLAB, please review the MATLAB tutorial. If you are not familiar with running a simple RTDX target application within Code Composer Studio, please review the RTDX tutorial.
