TMS320VC5503/5507/5509/5510 DSP Timers Reference Guide (Rev. C)
This manual describes the features and operation of the timers that are on the TMS320VC5509 and TMS320VC5510 digital signal processors (DSPs) in the TMS320C55xtrade; (C55xtrade;) DSP generation. The TMS320VC5509 device has two general-purpose timers and one watchdog timer. The TMS320VC5510 device has two general-purpose timers. Each general-purpose timer has a 16-bit main counter preceded by a 4-bit prescaler. The watchdog timer has a 16-bit main counter preceded by a 4-bit or 16-bit prescaler.
