This document describes the features and operations of the enhanced direct memory access (EDMA3) controller in the TMS320TCI648x/TMS320C6472 digital signal processor (DSP). The EDMA3 is a high-performance, multichannel, multithreaded DMA controller that allows you to program a wide variety of transfer geometries and transfer sequences.
