Our high performance Sitara™ microcontrollers provide highly integrated, safe and secure single-chip solutions for networking applications. A built-in hardware security module protects against attacks, while specialized networking management enables the real-time low-latency modes required for industrial networking applications. Functional safety support simplifies compliance for automotive systems targeting International Organization for Standarization (ISO) 26262 and industrial systems targeting ISO 10218-1.

AM2x microcontrollers (MCUs) are engineered with real-time control features that enable powerful and efficient systems. We have optimized the entire control signal chain from analog-to-digital converter read to pulse-width modulation (PWM) write resulting in control-loop latency that's <1 us. The control subsystem also contains advanced features such as high-resolution (150ps) PWMs and hardware comparators that enable complex control schemes and support high switching frequencies. These devices can also integrate multiple control systems into one MCU.

AM2x microcontrollers are engineered with advanced signal processing capability, including integrated C66x digital signal processors and hardware accelerators for low-power fast Fourier transform computations.  These devices also contain rich communications peripheral options as well as a hardware security module to enable real-time sensing, radar and audio processing. Redundancy and safety features enable operation in challenging and harsh environments.
