AM35x devices are ARM microprocessors based on the Cortex™-A8 for industrial applications. These devices offer multiple packages, industrial temperature options, peripheral integration and superior performance and graphics capabilities at sub-one Watt power levels. The system integration provides designers with a system cost reduction with multiple on-chip peripherals including a CAN controller and Ethernet MAC (EMAC). Rapid product development is possible with the modular AM35x evaluation module, which includes a Linux software development kit.
