DALLAS (April 18, 2007) – Texas Instruments Incorporated
(TI) (NYSE: TXN) today declared a 100 percent increase in its regular
quarterly cash dividend, payable May 21 to stockholders of record on April
30, 2007. The new quarterly dividend rate will be $0.08 per quarter, resulting
in annual dividend payments of $0.32 per share.
This is TI’s fourth dividend increase in the last four years. The
previous dividend increases were: 17 percent in 2004; 20 percent in 2005;
33 percent in 2006. TI has paid dividends to its shareholders on an uninterrupted
basis since June 1, 1962.
