ISO 14001

Responsible environmental stewardship is a high priority at TI. Compliance with local government authority is the basic minimum requirement for all TI sites. Local management is responsible for assuring compliance, and corporate ESH audits assure that working processes are in place. One of the additional tools utilized to meet TI ESH goals is the ISO environmental management system certification.

Currently, the majority of TI semiconductor manufacturing sites worldwide have obtained ISO 14001:2004. The exception are those located in Texas and Arizona, U.S.A., which operate under the TI-equivalent environmental management system. Certifications for our semiconductor manufacturing sites are available below:

Providing a safe and healthy work environment and being good neighbors to our surrounding communities is very important to TI. Our occupational health and safety (OHS) management system is integrated with our environmental management system to assure a structured approach to risk management, compliance with requirements and provide the best safeguards in our operations. These are based on standards, which specify a process of achieving continuously improved OHS performance and complying with legislation. Compliance with local government authority is the basic minimum requirement for all TI sites. Local management is responsible for assuring compliance, and corporate ESH audits assure that working processes are in place. One of the additional tools utilized to meet TI ESH goals is the OHSAS management system certification.

Currently, all TI semiconductor manufacturing sites worldwide are pursuing the steps necessary to obtain OHSAS 18001 certification.
