In order to provide TI's customers with reduced variation in product performance, TI has developed a Sameness approach. Sameness is a methodology and a tool used to drive the overlap of process distributions.

The goal of the Sameness methodology at TI is to ensure identical customer application performance of all devices built in multiple facilities.

Achieving Sameness enables rapid enterprise qualifications and facilitates customer acceptance of product transfers between sites that manufacture the same qualified technology.
