CIRCUIT060068

Discrete wide bandwidth instrumentation amplifier circuit

CIRCUIT060068

Overview

This design uses three op–amps to build a discrete wide bandwidth instrumentation amplifier. The circuit converts a differential, high frequency signal to a single–ended output.
Features
  • Input: Vi = -0.24 V to 0.24 V
  • Output: Vo = 0.1 V to 4.9 V
  • Bandwidth = 10 MHz
  • Supply:
    • Vcc = 2.5 V
    • Vee = 0 V
    • Vref = 2.5 V
High-speed op amps (GBW ≥ 50 MHz)
OPA354 250MHz, Rail-to-Rail I/O, CMOS Single Operational Amplifier
General-purpose op amps
OPA322 Single, 5.5-V, 20-MHz, 65-mA output current, low noise (8.5-nV/√Hz) operational amplifier
