Overview

The TPS54KB20 evaluation module (EVM) has 4 V to 16 V Input, 25 A, remote sense, D-CAP4™ step-down buck converter. The TPS54KB20 uses D-CAP4™ control mode for fast transient response, and by desensitizing the performance dependency on the level of output voltage, it improves the ease of use. TPS54KB20 offers great transient response with both high Vout and low Vout, without the need to change the application schematic for high Vout or low Vout optimization. TPS54KB20 provides an optimized pinout for efficiency and thermal performance and it's symmetrical input structure (Vin and PGND pins on both sides of the package) provides better EMI performance as well.

  • 1400 KHz switching frequency for U1 stage
  • 800 KHz switching frequency for U2 stage
  • 3.3 V default output for both U1 and U2 stages
