The TPS715 evaluation module (EVM) iis used to evaluate the operation and performance of the TPS715 linear regulator for use in circuit applications.
This EVM configuration contains a 50-mA low-dropout (LDO) regulator. The regulator is capable of delivering up to 50 mA and has a wide input-voltage (VIN) range of up to 24 V, and up to 30-V transients. For stability of the TPS715, use a minimum 0.47 µF, or greater, effective output capacitance with low equivalent series resistance (ESR).
