DATA CONVERTERS
Lowest Power, 8-Channel, 10- and 12-bit ADCs – Up to 65MSPS: The ADS5281 is first in a family of 8-channel, low-power 10- and 12-bit ADCs capable of speeds up to 65MSPS. This family of ADCs enables next-generation medical imaging and wireless communications designs to double system performance without increasing power consumption or board space.
- Lowest power: 64 mW per channel
- 70 dBFS SNR, 85 dBc SFDR at 10-MHz IF
- Applications: Medical imaging, industrial imaging, wireless communications, multi-channel data acquisition
Intelligent, Nano-Power Touch Screen Controller with SPI Interface: The TSC2006 4-wire touch screen controller works with a supply voltage as low as 1.2V, which can be supplied by a single-cell battery. It features a complete, ultra-low-power, 12-bit, analog-to-digital resistive touch screen converter, including drivers and the control logic to measure touch pressure.
- Preprocesses touch screen measurements to reduce bus loading

AMPLIFIERS
Industry’s First, Closed-Loop, Class-D Audio Amplifier with Feedback: The TAS5706 is an efficient 20-W, digital audio power amplifier for driving stereo bridged-tied speakers. Its digital closed-loop architecture produces richer, more accurate sounds. The TAS5706 also features end-to-end digital performance and a graphical development environment to support design needs and lower total system cost.
- 20W into an 8-Ω load from an 18-V Supply

420-MHz Variable Gain Amplifier: The VCA824 is a DC-coupled, wideband, continuously variable, voltage-controlled gain amp with >40dB gain linear in V/V gain adjust. Its 2500V/µs slew rate ensures either lower distortion for frequency domain-orientated applications or high fidelity pulse response for time domain-oriented applications.
- 0.1-dB gain flatness to 135MHz (G = +10V/V)
- 20dB ±0.4dB high gain accuracy
- Applications: Differential line receivers/equalizers, variable attenuators, voltage tunable active filters, pulse amplitude compensation

POWER MANAGEMENT
Synchronous Switch-Mode Li-Ion Charge Management IC with Integrated Power FETs: The bq2412x series are highly integrated, synchronous, switch-mode charge management devices for single- or two-cell Li-Ion and Li-Pol battery packs. The devices charge the battery in three phases: conditioning, constant current and constant voltage.
- Charge terminated based on user-selectable minimum current level
- 1.1-MHz fixed-frequency PWM controller
- Applications: Portable DVD and media players, smart handhelds, industrial and medical equipment, portable equipment
Multi-Cell, Synchronous Switch-Mode Charger: The bq24751A series are highly integrated, synchronous battery charger controllers with integrated compensation and system power selector. Ratiometric charge current and voltage programming allow very high regulation accuracies.
- Fixed 300-kHz NMOS-NMOS sync buck with 6-V gate drive
- 30-ns minimum driver dead-time and 99.5% (max) duty cycle
- Applications: Portable DVD and media players, smart handhelds, industrial and medical equipment, portable equipment

10-A, 4.5-V to 14-V Input, Power Module for 3-GHz DSP Systems: The PTH08T240F is a high-performance, 10A-rated, non-isolated power module designed to meet the ultra-fast transient requirements for 3-GHz DSP systems.
- Operates from a 4.5-V to 14-V input voltage range
- Requires a single resistor to set the output voltage to any value over the 0.69-V to 2-V range
- Applications: Wireless infrastructure base stations
Fixed-Frequency, 99% Duty Cycle Notebook System Power Controller: The TPS51220, a dual, synchronous-buck controller with two integrated LDOs, provides high efficiency, fast transient response and 99% duty cycle operation.
- Fixed frequency can be adjusted from 200kHz to 1MHz with a resistor
- Each channel runs 180º out of phase with adjustable interleaving ratio
- Applications: Notebook computers, I/O bus, point-of-load in LCD TVs
White LED Driver and PWM Brightness Control: The TPS61160/TPS61161 are the first products in a new family of white LED drivers for LCD backlighting in portable systems. The devices operate over a 2.7-V to 18-V input supply and provide up to 38-V output voltage.
- 40-V integrated switch FET drives up to 10 LEDs in series
- 600-kHz fixed switching frequency reduces output ripple and improves conversion efficiency
- Applications: 2.5” to 4” displays, PDAs, cell phones, handheld computers, GPS receivers, general white LED backlighting
400-mA, 2.25-MHz Step-Down DC/DC Converter with Selectable VOUT: The TPS62270 operates at 2.25-MHz fixed switching frequency, provides up to 400-mA output current from a single Li-Ion cell, and has an input voltage range of 2V to 6V to support the extended voltage range found in portable applications.
- Power-save mode and voltage select input (VSEL)
- Applications: Cell phones, smart phones, navigation systems, portable media players, digital cameras
500-mA, 300-MHz Synchronous Step-Down DC/DC Converter: The TPS62315 is a fixed 1.875-V output converter supporting up to 500-mA load current and allows the use of tiny, low-cost chip inductors and capacitors. With an output voltage range down to 0.6V, the device supports low-voltage DSP processors.

- 3-MHz switching frequency
- Applications: Cell phones, smart phones, WLAN and Bluetooth™ applications, PDAs, pocket PCs, USB-based DSL modems, digital cameras
8-Channel, DC/DC Converter for Digital Still Cameras: The TPS65530 is a highly integrated, 8-channel switching DC/DC converter with power on/off sequencing, which eliminates the need for complicated firmware to control the device. Buck-boost converters for engine I/O and the analog front end allow higher efficiency at 3.3-V output in 1-cell, Li-Ion battery applications.

- Applications: Digital still cameras, portable electronics equipment
