this Issue: AMPLIFIERS & LINEAR Dual, Low-Power, Fixed-Gain Op Amp: The OPA2832 is an internally fixed-gain, high-speed op amp that allows easy implementation of a gain of +2V/V video line driver with RR output swing, offering a low-cost interface for single-supply video DACs.
High-Precision Op Amp Now in Small DFN 4x4mm Package: The OPA277’s new 4mm x 4mm DFN package is equivalent in size to an MSOP-8, but with much better thermal characteristics (45°C/W) than the MSOP-8 (150°C/W), helping to keep the die temperature cool.
6-Channel, 200-W, Digital Amplifier Power Stage: The TAS5186 is a high-performance digital-amplifier power stage capable of driving a 6-Ω, single-ended load up to 30W per channel, and a 3-Ω, single-ended subwoofer greater than 50W at 10% THD performance. No power-up sequencing required due to internal power-on reset.
2.5V and Adjustable Precision Shunt Regulators: The LM4040C25 and LM4041C are 2.5V and adjustable precision shunt regulators, respectively. They are stable with all capacitive loads and are now available in ultra-small SC70 packaging.
LM4041C: Price (1 ku) $0.35 Dual, 1.8-V, RRIO Op Amp: The LMV982 and LMV981 (single) are low-voltage, low-power op amps capable of 80mV RRO while driving a 600-Ω load at 1.8V operation. Shutdown offers additional power savings and their wide operating temperature range, -40°C to +125°C, is suited for commercial, industrial and automotive applications.
Ultra-Low Power, Quad Op Amp: The LP324 and LP2902 are quad, low-power op amps featuring wide supply voltage (3V < Vcc < 32V), slew rate of 0.05V/µs and 0.037mA (max) Iq per channel.
DATA CONVERTERS 16-Bit, Ultra-Low Power Vout DACs: The DAC8830 and DAC8831 are ultra-low power, single-channel, serial-in/voltage-out DACs operating from a single 3-V to 5-V supply. They offer excellent linearity (1LSB INL), low glitch (8nV-s), and low noise (10nV/rtHz); the DAC8831 can be configured for unipolar or bipolar output.
DAC8831: Price (1 ku) $7.95 12-Bit, Ultra-Low Glitch, Octal Vout DAC: The DAC7558 offers eight 12-bit channels with true 12-bit integral and differential linearity. It is the only DAC to offer true 12-bit linearity and monotonicity with low power, low glitch and speed.
Digitizer for Dual-Phase Current Measurement: The ADS1205 is a dual, 2nd-order, precision ΔΣ modulator operating from a +5V supply at a nominal 10-MHz clock rate. Additional features include 16-bit resolution (NMC), 14-bit linearity, a ±2.5V input range at 2.5V with only 0.5% gain error.
Low Power, 24-Bit, Audio ADC: The PCM4201 low-power audio ADC is the only single-channel, <100mW, 112dB dynamic range ADC available. It supports PCM sampling rates up to 108kHz, differential voltage inputs and 24-bit linear PCM output data.
POWER MANAGEMENT Wide-Input, 1.5-A, Non-isolated DC/DC Module: The PTN78000W is a non-isolated DC/DC module offering single regulated output over a wide input range. In a typical environment of 60°C and 200LFM airflow, it produces a full 1.5A output without derating. Other features include remote sense, short-circuit and over-current protection, and on/off inhibit control.
Positive-to-Negative Voltage DC/DC Power Modules: The PTN780xxA are non-isolated DC/DC power modules that allow creation of a negative output voltage from a positive input voltage.
PTN78020AAx: Price (1 ku) $15.00 PTN78000AAx: Price (1 ku) $8.00 Wide Input, 5-A, Non-Isolated DC/DC Module: The PTN78020H is a wide input, point-of-load module that delivers 5A of regulated power to its load at up to 95% efficiency. It offers line and load regulation, remote sense, over-temperature and over-current protection.
Wide Input, 3-A, Non-Isolated DC/DC Module: The PTN78060H is a point-of-load module that delivers 3A of regulated power to its load at up to 93% efficiency. Its wide range of input/output voltages maximizes design flexibility and reduces system redesign of existing architectures when voltage requirements change.
Low-Side, ±4A MOSFET Driver with Current Sense: The UCD7100 is a digital-control-compatible, MOSFET gate driver that provides a fast (25ns) cycle-by-cycle current limit function with programmable threshold and a digital output current limit flag. Other features are a 3.3-V, 10-mA internal regulator and a single ±4-A TrueDrive™ high current driver.
PCIX-2 Dual Slot Hot Plug Controller: The TPS2343 is a dual-slot, hot-plug controller for PCIX and PCIX-2 systems and includes all analog functions supporting LED drivers, module speed, switch and attention button inputs. Other features include a slot power-off indicator and fast fault indication.
Advanced PFC/PWM Combination Controller: The UCC28521 and UCC28528 combination PCF/PWM controllers provide complete control functionality for any off-line power system requiring compliance with IEC1000-3-2 harmonic reduction requirements. Trailing-edge PFC and trailing-edge PWM modulation in a single device achieves significant performance benefits.
